Over the weekend it will remain warm and muggy, but the threat for rain will be reduced. There is a slight chance of an isolated thundershower on Saturday with highs reaching the middle 80s. Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Sunday with highs once again in the middle 80s.
Shower and thunderstorm chances will linger for the first half of the coming week as well. It will still be humid on Monday with scattered showers and thunderstorms and highs reaching the lower 80s. On Tuesday, showers and thunderstorms should end early in the day, and humidity will begin to drop a bit as highs drop back near 80. Temperatures will stay near 80 for Wednesday and Thursday as well, with a slight chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms Wednesday.
We will dry out and begin to warm up again heading to next weekend. We'll have partly sunny skies with highs in the mid 80s Friday and upper 80s Saturday.
