High pressure building into Wisconsin behind a cold front  tonight will allow skies to become mostly clear. It will be cooler with low temperatures falling into the middle to upper 40s by morning.

Friday will be mostly sunny and pleasant with highs reaching the middle 70s. The weather will remain quiet Friday night with mostly clear skies and comfortable temperatures in the lower 50s.

As the high moves eastward, southerly winds will increase and temperatures will warm. Skies will be partly sunny on Saturday, with highs around 80 degrees. There will be a chance for showers and thunderstorms Saturday night, mainly for areas west of Madison. Showers and thunderstorms are likely across southern Wisconsin Sunday with mostly cloudy skies, higher humidity and highs around 80 degrees.

A weak cold front will end the chances for showers and thunderstorms late Sunday night. The front will move to the south of Wisconsin, allowing skies to become! partly sunny on Monday, as temperatures climb into the middle 80s.

Showers and thunderstorms Monday night may continue into parts of Tuesday as the front begins to move northward as a warm front. Highs on Tuesday will be in the middle 80s. The warm front will move northward on Tuesday night, but on Wednesday, a cold front will approach from the west along with a storm system. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely, along with very warm and humid conditions; highs will be in the middle 80s.

Shower and thunderstorm chances will come to an end Thursday morning as the cold front and storm system move eastward. It will become partly sunny, cooler, and less humid Thursday afternoon. Highs on Thursday will return to the middle 70s. Friday will be pleasant with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s.
