Any showers and thunderstorms will end this evening, leading to partly cloudy skies tonight and lows near 60. Monday will be partly sunny, very warm and humid with highs in the mid 80s and a heat index near 90.
The front from Sunday will lift northward as a warm front and stall over the region from Tuesday through Friday, leading to additional showers and thunderstorms. Expect warm and humid conditions throughout the period. Showers and thunderstorms will develop Monday night into Tuesday morning before moving to the east by the afternoon. Tuesday will be very warm and humid, with highs in the mid 80s and heat indices in the lower 90s. Scattered showers will stick around Wednesday through Friday, with highs in the lower to middle 80s and heat indices near 90.
A cut off low pressure system will ride along the front into the weekend which will extend slight chances of showers as temperatures and humidity drop just a bit. Highs will be in the! lower 80s for Saturday and Sunday.
