A warm front will lift northward and stall over the region tonight through Friday, leading to rounds of showers and thunderstorms. Expect warm and humid conditions throughout the period. Showers and thunderstorms will develop tonight into Tuesday morning before moving to the east by the afternoon. Some storms may be severe and some could produce heavy rainfall.
Tuesday will be very warm and humid, with highs in the upper 80s and heat indices in the lower to middle 90s. Another round of showers and thunderstorms will develop Tuesday afternoon or night, with more severe weather and heavy rainfall possible. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will stick around Wednesday through Friday, with highs in the lower to middle 80s.
A low pressure system will ride along the front into the weekend. This will cause chances for showers and thunderstorms to linger Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be in the lower 80s for Saturday and Sunday. Humidity will ! drop just a bit by Sunday. By Monday, we should dry out completely with sunshine, lower humidity, and highs in the middle 70s.
