A wave of low pressure moving through the region will bring continued shower and thunderstorm chances to southern Wisconsin this evening. Later tonight, skies will become partly cloudy with areas of fog developing. It will remain muggy overnight with lows in the lower 60s. Tuesday should be rather quiet with partly sunny skies and warm and humid conditions. Shower and thunderstorm chances will hold off until later Tuesday afternoon or evening as a weak cold front drops in from the north. Highs on Tuesday will reach the lower 80s.
Wednesday will be less humid with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s. There will be a slight chance for thunderstorms on Wednesday. A better chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop Thursday, mainly in the afternoon. Another chance for showers and thunderstorms is in Friday's forecast. Highs Thursday and Friday will reach the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Humidity will increase Friday.
The heat! and humidity will stick around for the weekend. A warm front will push through Wisconsin Saturday with shower and thunderstorm chances. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible on Sunday as well. Weekend highs will reach the middle 80s with heat index values near 90. Monday will remain very warm and humid with showers and thunderstorms. Highs on Monday will reach the middle 80s with heat index values in the upper 80s to near 90.
