A cold front dropping in from the north will bring a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms to the area this evening. Otherwise, skies should be partly cloudy with areas of fog forming overnight. Low temperatures will fall to around 60 degrees.
Wednesday will be very mild but less humid with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s. There will be a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon and evening.
Off and on shower and thunderstorm chances are in the forecast for Thursday and Friday. There will be a slight chance for an afternoon thunderstorm on Thursday and a chance for thunderstorms late Friday or Friday night. Otherwise, skies will be partly sunny and it will be warm and turning more humid. Highs will be near 80 both days.
The heat and humidity will stick around for the weekend. A warm front will push through Wisconsin Saturday morning, generating showers and thunderstorms. There is a chan! ce for showers and thunderstorms on Sunday as well. Highs will be in the upper 80s both days with heat index values as high as the middle 90s.
Monday will remain very warm and humid with a better chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs on Monday will reach the middle 80s with heat index values in the upper 80s to near 90. The shower and thunderstorm chance will end Tuesday morning with partly sunny skies for the afternoon. Tuesday will be warm, but less humid with highs in the lower 80s.
