The Fourth is shaping up quite nicely with mostly sunny skies, low humidity and highs in the upper 70s.
For this weekend, the heat and humidity will slowly make a comeback, as will our chances of showers and thunderstorms. Saturday will still be fairly pleasant with highs in the lower 80s; there's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms late in the day or at night. Sunday will be very warm and humid with highs in the middle 80s and heat index values near 90. We'll have a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms early in the day and then a better chance late in the day as a cold front moves in, with a dry stretch in between.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will end early Monday as the cold front moves through. Highs will be near 80. Tuesday and Wednesday will be partly sunny and still warm, but less humid and there will be chances of afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms both days. Highs will remain near 80. Thursday will ! be partly sunny and pleasant with highs in the lower 80s.
