Tonight will be partly cloudy, milder, and more humid with lows dropping into the middle 60s. Sunday will be very warm and humid with highs in the middle 80s and heat index values near 90. Showers and thunderstorms will develop Sunday afternoon and move through during the evening and early overnight hours. Some of these storms could be severe with high winds and large hail being the main threats.
Monday will be partly sunny, warm and humid again with showers and thunderstorms developing again Monday night. Highs will be in the lower 80s. Those showers and thunderstorms will end early on Tuesday, and there may be some clearing by the afternoon. Highs will fall into the upper 70s.
Wednesday and Thursday look partly sunny and pleasant with highs near 80, then the heat and humidity will ramp up again on Friday. Highs for Friday and Saturday will be in the middle 80s with heat index values near 90, and chances of showers and thunderstorms both days.!

NOTES:
The Storm Prediction Center says that there is SLIGHT RISK of severe thunderstorms on Sunday and Sund! ay night for extreme southeastern Minnesota, the eastern third of Iowa, the northern quarter of Illinois, and most of Wisconsin. A very warm and humid air mass will be over the central Midwest on Sunday. As a cold front approaches from the northwest, thunderstorms will develop in Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin on Sunday afternoon, spreading into southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois by Sunday night. High winds, hail, and heavy rainfall are the main threats, although and isolated tornado may be possible where thunderstorms initially develop. The severe weather threat should lessen overnight as the cold front moves southward into Illinois.
