Another pleasant day ahead with plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures. Mostly sunny skies this morning will give way to a few more clouds this afternoon. Highs will climb to the upper 70s, but humidity levels will remain low. Quiet weather will continue tonight with mostly clear skies and lows falling to the middle 50s. Friday will be almost a carbon copy of today, partly sunny and pleasant with highs in the upper 70s.
The weekend will remain dry with partly sunny skies, and the warming trend will continue, with highs in the lower 80s on Saturday, and in the middle 80s for Sunday. Humidity levels will begin to increase, so heat index values could be close to 90 degrees by later Sunday afternoon.
Very warm and humid weather is likely through at least Wednesday of next week. As temperatures climb to between 85 and 90 degrees, dew point temperatures will climb into the 60s, resulting in heat index values in the lower to middle 90s ! at times. Warm temperatures aloft will limit thunderstorm development somewhat, although there is a chance for a few showers and thunderstorms later Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday night, and a slight chance for Wednesday.
