The weather looks to be very nice for for the rest of the week as high pressure takes over. It should be mostly sunny today and tomorrow. Highs will climb back into the middle 70s today and to the upper 70s on Friday.
For next weekend, the heat and humidity will slowly make a comeback, as will our chances of showers and thunderstorms. Saturday will still be fairly pleasant with highs in the lower 80s; there's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly late in the day or at night. Sunday will be very warm and more humid with highs in the middle 80s and heat index values near 90. We'll have another chance of showers and thunderstorms early in the day and then again late or overnight, with a dry stretch in between.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue early on Monday as a storm system passes to the north and drags a cold front across southern Wisconsin. Highs will be in the lower 80s. Tuesday and Wednesday will be part! ly sunny and still warm, but a bit less humid with highs remaining in the lower to middle 80s. Another chance of showers and thunderstorms will develop late in the day on Wednesday
