Things are looking very pleasant today with partly sunny skies and temperatures rising from the mid 50s this morning into the mid 70s for highs this afternoon. Thursday is looking very nice as well, with mostly sunny skies and slightly warmer highs near 80.
On Friday, and approaching storm system will cause skies to become increasingly cloudy. Breezy southerly winds will bring in more humid air, with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. High temperatures will be around 80 degrees again.
More heat and humidity will return for the weekend. It will be very warm and humid with variably cloudy skies and highs in the middle 80s and heat indices near 90 for both Saturday and Sunday. Showers and thunderstorms are possible both weekend days, but much of the time during the day we should stay free from rain.
A cold front will move through the area on Sunday night, which will lower both the heat and humidity f! or Monday. Highs will be in the upper 70s. Another front will move through Monday night with a chance of a few showers. We will cool down a bit more after it passes, but Tuesday and Wednesday look to be pleasant as well with plenty of sunshine and highs in the lower to middle 70s.
