As high pressure moves to the east, mostly clear skies this evening will become partly cloudy overnight. Southerly winds will keep us a little milder. Temperatures will fall to the middle 60s by late evening, and to the upper 50s by morning.
Friday will then be partly sunny, breezy, and warm. As it becomes more humid, there is a chance for showers and thunderstorms, with the better chances occurring during the afternoon. High temperatures should be around 80 degrees again. The best chances for rain arrive Friday night, and should diminish or end early on Saturday morning.
The weekend will then be warm and humid, with highs in the lower to middle 80s both Saturday and Sunday and heat indices near 90 both afternoons. Chances of showers and thunderstorms will continue, but right now it appears that the best chances will be during the hours of darkness, with the lowest chances for rain during the daylight hours, and there will be plenty of! dry periods.
A cold front will move through the area on Sunday night, which will lower both the heat and humidity by Monday. Expect scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms on Monday; high temperatures will be in the middle 70s. Even cooler weather is expected on Tuesday, with mostly cloudy skies and a chance for showers keeping high temperatures in the upper 60s.
The rest of the week looks very nice with plenty of sunshine, low humidity and highs in the middle 70s on Wednesday, the upper 70s on Thursday, and around 80 degrees on Friday.
