Tonight will be mostly clear and pleasant, great for viewing area fireworks displayes. Temperatures will fall to the middle 60s by late evening, and to the middle 50s by morning.
For this weekend, the heat and humidity will slowly return, as will our chances of showers and thunderstorms. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will end early Monday as the cold front moves through. A second front may bring a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms later Monday afternoon into Monday night; high temperatures will be in the middle 8! 0s. Tuesday will be variably cloudy and not quite as warm, but less humid with a chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms. Highs will top out around 80 degrees.
Dry weather with sunny skies and warm temperatures will be with us for the rest of next week. Highs will climb from the lower 80s on Wednesday to around 90 degrees by Saturday. Humidity will rise as well, bringing heat index values to near 100 by next Saturday.
