High pressure will continue to influence our weather through Thursday night. Expect mostly clear skies and cool temperatures tonight. Temperatures will fall to the lower 60s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the lower 50s by morning.
Thursday will be a pleasant day with plenty of sunshine and highs in the middle to upper 70s. Skies will become partly cloudy Thursday night with low temperatures in the middle 50s.
Friday will be partly sunny, a little warmer, and more humid as high pressure moves to the east, and southerly winds bring in more summer-like air. As a result, there is a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms Friday afternoon, with a better chance for rain later at night. High temperatures will climb to the lower 80s.
Saturday will be variably cloudy, warm, and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the lower 80s. Sunday should be partly sunny, warm, and continued humid ! with just a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s.
A weak are of high pressure will move in for early next week. Monday will be partly sunny and warm, but less humid with highs around 80 degrees. As the high moves to the east Monday night, more humid air will return, leading to a chance for showers and thunderstorms Monday night. Tuesday will be variably cloudy, warm, and humid again with scattered showers and thunderstorms; high temperatures will remain in the lower 80s.
On Wednesday, very warm and humid air takes hold for a few days. Expect partly sunny skies, although there is a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the middle to upper 80s with heat index values around 90 on Wednesday.
