The stationary front to our south will still be close enough to give us at least a chance for a shower or thunderstorm on Saturday. Otherwise, it will be variably cloudy, very warm, and humid with highs close to 90 degrees. Heat Index values will be in the 90s during the afternoon.
The weather for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday will be partly sunny, hot and humid with just slight chances for showers and thunderstorms, mainly due to the high humidity. Highs will be in the lower 90s with afternoon heat index values around 100 degrees on Sunday and Monday. Tuesday's highs will dip slightly into the upper 80s, but heat index values will remain in the 90s. The best chances each day for rain will be late in the afternoon into the evening hours.
A cold front will move ! through the area on Tuesday night and Wednesday, leading to higher chances of showers and thunderstorms through Wednesday night. Highs will drop back a little to the lower 80s on Wednesday, while the humidity remains high.
Showers will end early on Thursday, and then we'll have a break in the humidity for the rest of Thursday into Friday. Thursday will be partly sunny and Friday will be mostly sunny; high temperatures for both days will reach the lower 80s.
