Partly cloudy skies this evening will become mostly cloudy later tonight. A nearly stationary front across northern Illinois will give southern Wisconsin a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm overnight. Low temperatures will fall into the upper 50s. A slight chance for showers and thunderstorms will continue into Wednesday morning. Otherwise, skies should be variably cloudy with highs in the upper 70s.
On Thursday, a low pressure system will develop in the Plains and move along the stationary front. This will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms through southern Wisconsin Thursday and Friday. Highs will be in the upper 70s on Thursday and in the lower 80s on Friday with high humidity returning by Friday as well.
The storm system will head to the northeast over the weekend. Shower and thunderstorm chances will continue Saturday with humid conditions and temperatures around 80 degrees. Sunday should be partly sunny and warm with just ! a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the lower 80s. Labor Day Monday will be partly sunny, breezy, warm, and humid with highs in the middle 80s. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along a cold front from Monday afternoon through Tuesday. Tuesday's high temperatures will be in the upper 70s.
