Tonight, clouds will increase as a low pressure system develops in the Plains and moves along a stationary front toward Wisconsin. Lows will be in the upper 50s and there is a chance of patchy fog by morning.
This system will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms through southern Wisconsin from Thursday afternoon through Saturday. Heavy rainfall is possible at times as this system lumbers through. Highs will be in the middle 70s on Thursday and in the lower 80s on Friday with high humidity returning by Friday as well.
The storm system will head to the northeast over the weekend. Shower and thunderstorm chances will continue Saturday with humid conditions and temperatures in the lower 80s. Sunday should be partly sunny, warm and humid with just a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the middle 80s.
A cold front will sweep through the area on Labor Day, bringing more showers and thunderstorms through! southern Wisconsin. It will remain warm and humid with highs in the lower 80s. After the front passes, it will be very pleasant Tuesday and Wednesday with partly sunny skies, less humidity and highs near 80.
