Mostly cloudy skies this morning with showers and thunderstorms ending early. Skies will turn partly sunny today with just a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. It will still be warm and humid with highs in the lower 80s. Quiet weather is expected overnight. Low temperatures will fall to the lower 60s with patchy fog developing.
Wednesday will be partly sunny, warm and humid with highs in the lower to middle 80s. A warm front will then move through the area from south to north on Thursday, which will trigger one of the warmer stretches of weather we've seen all summer. We will have scattered showers and thunderstorms as the front passes Thursday, and highs will rise into the upper 80s
Friday through Sunday will be partly sunny, hot and humid with chances of showers and thunderstorms each day due to the very soupy conditions. Highs will be near 90 with heat indices in the mid 90s to 100.
A cold front will m! ove through early next week, which will drop temperatures back near 80 for Monday and Tuesday.
