Over the weekend, we will stay mainly dry with only slight chances of isolated showers in the afternoon or evening Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s Saturday and mid 80s on Sunday.
Next week, a warm front will move down from the north on Monday, leading to a better chance of showers and thunderstorms. That front will then linger in the upper Midwest, which will keep shower and thunderstorm chances going through the rest of the week. By Friday, that front will begin to shift off to the east with a low pressure system, which will increase showers and thunderstorm chances for Friday and Saturday. Highs will remain near 80 all week.
