Any thunderstorm is capable of producing heavy rain, gusty winds, and hail. Temperatures will climb to around 80 degrees by lunchtime, and high temperatures should reach the middle to upper 80s, with afternoon heat index readings to around 90 degrees.
The warm front is forecast to move north of southern Wisconsin later tonight, but will still be close enough to continue threat for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Otherwise, tonight will be mostly cloudy, very mild, and muggy with low temperatures falling to around 70 degrees.
As the warm front moves into northern Wisconsin, the weather for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will be partly sunny, hot and humid with just slight chances for showers and thunderstorms, mainly due to the high humidity. Highs will be in the lower 90s with afternoon heat! index values around 100 degrees.
A cold front will move through Wisconsin on Monday night, bringing some showers and thunderstorms. The cold front will move into northern Illinois on Tuesday, and then will head back northward as a warm front on Tuesday night into Wednesday.
