A cold front will push through Wisconsin early this morning and stall out across northern Illinois and Iowa. There will still be a slight chance for a few showers and thunderstorms this morning along with patchy fog. Skies will be partly sunny this afternoon with highs around 80. It will turn less humid this afternoon as well.
Wednesday will be partly sunny and a little cooler with highs in the upper 70s. There will still be a slight chance for showers or thunderstorms with the front stalled across northern Illinois.
On Thursday, skies will be mostly cloudy as a low pressure system develops in the Plains. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop and continue into Friday as the storm system moves through the area. Highs for both Thursday and Friday will be in the middle to upper 70s.
The storm system will head to the northeast on Saturday. Lingering showers should end Saturday morning, and skies will become partly sunn! y, allowing high temperatures to climb to around 80 degrees. Sunday should be partly sunny with just a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms. Sunday will be warm with high temperatures in the lower 80s. On Labor Day Monday, winds will pick up from the south, allowing temperatures to climb into the middle 80s with a little more humidity. As a cold front approaches from the west, there will be some showers and thunderstorms developing, mainly in the afternoon into Monday night.
