A few sprinkles or light showers early this morning, otherwise expect quite a few clouds throughout the day. Highs will be in the middle to upper 70s this afternoon. Tonight, a low pressure system will develop in the Plains and move along a stationary front toward Wisconsin. This will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms through southern Wisconsin Thursday and Friday. Heavy rainfall is possible through the end of the week. Highs will be in the middle 70s on Thursday and in the lower 80s on Friday with high humidity returning by Friday as well.
The storm system will head to the northeast over the weekend. Shower and thunderstorm chances will continue Saturday with humid conditions and temperatures around 80 degrees. Sunday should be partly sunny and warm with just a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the lower 80s. Labor Day Monday will be partly sunny, breezy, warm, and humid with highs in the middle 80s. Showers a! nd thunderstorms will develop along a cold front from Monday afternoon through Tuesday. Tuesday's high temperatures will be in the upper 70s.
