Patchy fog early this morning, otherwise mostly clear skies turning cloudy by the afternoon. A storm system will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms through southern Wisconsin this afternoon and Friday. Highs will be in the middle 70s today and in the lower to middle 80s on Friday with higher humidity returning as well.
The storm system will head to the northeast over the weekend. Shower and thunderstorm chances will continue Saturday with humid conditions and temperatures in the lower 80s. Dry weather will return for Sunday with warm and humid conditions. Highs will reach the middle 80s. However, on Labor Day Monday, a cold front will sweep through the area, bringing more showers and thunderstorms through southern Wisconsin. It will remain warm and humid with highs in the lower 80s.
After the cold front passes, the weather will turn pleasant, with cooler temperatures and lower humidity. Tuesday will be partly sunny with high tempe! ratures in the upper 70s. Wednesday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures around 80 degrees.
