Tonight will be partly cloudy and milder. As humidity levels increase a little more, it's possible that a few showers could develop toward morning. Temperatures will fall to the upper 60s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the lower 60s by morning.
Saturday will be variably cloudy, warm, and humid with a chance for showers and thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon. Highs will reach the lower to middle 80s. As a cold front moves southward through southern Wisconsin, showers and thunderstorms will come to an end Saturday night as low temperatures fall to around 60 degrees by morning. Behind the front, Sunday will still be partly sunny, a little cooler, and less humid; high temperatures will reach the middle to upper 70s.
Monday will be partly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures in the upper 70s. As the high moves to the east Monday night, more humid air will return, leading to a chance for showers and th! understorms. Tuesday will be variable cloudiness, warm, and more humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms; high temperatures will be in the lower 80s.
Very warm and humid air begins on Wednesday, and should last through next weekend. While there will be chances for showers and thunderstorms in the sultry air, the best chances appear to be on Thursday as a weak warm front moves northward through Wisconsin, Saturday afternoon into Saturday night along a weak cold front, and later Sunday and Sunday night as a stronger storm system approaches the upper Midwest. Skies will be partly sunny, with a little more cloud cover on Thursday and Saturday. High temperatures will be in the middle 80s on to near 90, with heat index values reaching the middle to upper 90s by the end of the week.
