NOTES:
The Storm Prediction Center says that there is a SLIGHT RISK of severe thunderstorms for Monday and Monday night across extreme southeastern Iowa, the northern three-quarters of Illinois, and parts of south-central and southeastern Wisconsin (south and east of a line from Darlington to Beaver Dam to Manitowoc). A cold front will move through southern Wisconsin and Illinois on Monday. The air ahead of the front will be warm and quite humid. Showers and thunderstorms ahead of the front on Monday morning will move northeastward into northern Wisconsin by Monday afternoon. Clouds and morning precipitation may prevent the atmosphere from destabilizing enough to generate m! ore thunderstorms before the cold front passes later Monday afternoon. If skies clear enough and temperatures warm enough, a few severe thunderstorms may develop Monday afternoon over southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. High winds, hail, and heavy rainfall are the main threats from these thunderstorms. The severe weather threat will end with the passage of the cold front by early Monday evening.
