Clouds will stick around tonight as a wave of low pressure builds in from the west. Temperatures will fall into the lower 40s by early Wednesday morning.
A strong low pressure system will develop and move through the Midwest on Wednesday and Thursday. Skies will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms developing Wednesday afternoon, especially west of Madison. Showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue across all of southern Wisconsin Wednesday night and Thursday. Temperatures will be a little milder, with highs in the upper 60s on Wednesday and in the lower 70s on Thursday.
After the system moves away and drags a cold front through Wisconsin, temperatures will cool down again. Scattered showers will linger on Friday with high temperatures dropping back to the upper 50s.
The weekend weather will be quite cool. Saturday will be variably cloudy and breezy with highs in the lower 50s. There is a slig! ht chance for an afternoon shower Sunday with high temperatures in the upper 50s.
Next Monday should be partly sunny with near-normal temperatures in the lower 60s. A chance for showers will develop Tuesday.
