Southwest winds will kick in on Sunday and with plenty of sunshine, highs will return to the mid 60s. Scattered showers will develop late Sunday night and will stick around Monday with highs dropping back to the lower 60s.

Cool but pleasant weather is in the forecast for the remainder of next week. We'll see mostly sunny skies Tuesday and partly sunny skies Wednesday through Friday. A gradual warming trend will take place with highs in the upper 60s Tuesday through Thursday, and in the lower 70s on Friday.

A cold front will move through the area late Friday or Saturday, which will bring another chance of showers and thunderstorms but the cold air will miss us this time, staying out to the east. Temperatures over the weekend will be in the mid to upper 70s.
