High pressure will control our weather for the next 7 days into early next week. Mostly sunny skies are expected today with high temperatures reaching the lower 70s. Tonight will be mostly clear, but not quite as cool with low temperatures in the upper 40s.
A weak area of low pressure to our west on Wednesday may spread a few more clouds across southern Wisconsin from Wednesday afternoon into Thursday, although some sunshine is expected as well. Any rain will stay west of the Mississippi River. High temperatures will be in the middle 70s.
High pressure will continue to dominate the weather pattern over the region from Friday through Sunday with mostly sunny skies. Highs will reach the middle to upper 70s over the weekend.
Monday will be partly sunny, breezy, and very mild with highs in the upper 70s.
