It will definitely feel like fall today. Skies will start mostly cloudy, but clear out during the day. Temperatures will climb from the 40s to the lower 60s this afternoon. Mostly clear skies this evening will give way to mostly cloudy skies later tonight, keeping low temperatures in the lower 40s.
A strong low pressure system will develop and move through the Midwest on Wednesday and Thursday. Skies will be mostly cloudy and scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop on Wednesday afternoon; continuing through Thursday. Temperatures will be a little milder, with high temperatures in the upper 60s on Wednesday and in the lower 70s on Thursday.
After the system moves away and drags a cold front through Wisconsin, temperatures will cool down again. Scattered showers will linger on Friday with high temperatures dropping back to the upper 50s.
The weekend weather will be quiet. Saturday will be partly sunny and cool with hig! hs in the upper 50s. There is a slight chance for an afternoon shower Sunday with high temperatures in the lower 60s under variably cloudy skies.
Next Monday should be partly sunny with near-normal temperatures; high temperatures will be in the middle 60s.
