High pressure will build into the Midwest for the weekend, bringing quiet and pleasant weather to the region. Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the lower to middle 70s. Overnight lows will be near 50.
Monday will be partly sunny and mild with high temperatures in the upper 70s. Shower and thunderstorm chances will return Monday night. The rest of the week will feature chances for showers and thunderstorms each day and a steady cooling trend. Highs will reach the upper 70s Tuesday, the middle 70s Wednesday, the upper 60s Thursday, and the lower 60s on Friday.
