High pressure will bring sunny and cool days, and clear and cold nights through the first part of the weekend. Tonight will be mostly clear and cold. Frost is likely again, with a hard freeze possible, especially over southwestern Wisconsin. Temperatures will fall to the lower 40s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the lower 30s.

Temperatures will be near-normal over the weekend. Saturday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the upper 50s. Patchy frost is possible again Saturday night, but it shouldn't be as widespread as low temperatures fall to the middle to upper 30s. The next weather system will begin to move into the area on Sunday, bringing increasingly cloudy skies and a chance for showers to develop in the afternoon along with breezy conditions; high temperatures will be near 60 degrees.

Monday will be mostly cloudy and breezy with occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms; high temperatures ! will reach the middle 60s. As the storm moves east of Wisconsin on Tuesday, showers will continue in the morning before ending in the afternoon. It will be windy and cooler with highs in the upper 50s.

Mild weather will return for the middle of next week. Wednesday will be mostly sunny and milder with highs reaching the middle 60s. Thursday will be mostly sunny, breezy, and mild with high temperatures near 70 degrees.

On Friday, a cold front will sweep through Wisconsin. Expect variably cloudy skies with a chance for showers. It will turn windy and cooler as high temperatures reach the lower 60s in the morning, then temperatures should fall back into the 50s in the afternoon.

Just as quikly, partly sunny skies, breezy and milder weather should return next Saturday with high temperatures in the middle to upper 60s. On Sunday, andother storm system will arrive with showers and isolated thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the lower 60s.!

In Wisconsin, this includes the counties of: VERNON, RICHLAND, CRAWFORD, and GRANT (this includes the La Crosse metropolitan area).

A FROST ADVISORY has been issued from 1 AM until 9 AM Saturday morning for south-central and southeastern Wisconsin, including the counties of: MARQUETTE, GREEN LAKE, SAUK, COLUMBIA, DODGE, IOWA, DANE, JEFFERSON, LAFAYETTE, GREEN, ROCK, and WALWORTH (this includes the Madison and Milwaukee metropolitan areas).

A FROST ADVISORY has been issued ! from 3 AM until 8 AM Saturday morning for north-central and part of northeastern Illinois, including the counties of WINNEBAGO, BOONE, and McHENRY (this includes the Rockford metropolitan area and the western and northwestern suburbs of Chicago).
