A strong area of low pressure north of Lake Superior will spiral cold air across Wisconsin through the weekend. Tonight will be mostly cloudy and it will be colder with scattered rain showers developing; temperatures will fall to the lower 40s by late evening. With low temperatures expected to fall into the middle 30s overnight, some of these showers may mix with flurries, but no accumulation is expected..

The unseasonably chilly weather will stick around for the weekend.  Saturday will be mostly cloudy, breezy and very chilly with scattered rain showers, possibly mixed with flurries in the morning. High temperaturess will only reach the middle 40s. Partly cloudy skies developing Saturday night may lead to frost by Sunday morning as temperatures fall into the lower 30s. Sunday will start out partly sunny , but skies will turn mostly cloudy in the afternoon with scattered rain showers developing late in the day or at night. High temperatures won't! be quite as chilly, reaching the lower 50s.

The chance for rain showers continues on Monday into Monday night, ending on Tuesday morning; however, dry periods are also expected. Monday will be variably cloudy with highs in the middle 50s, while partly sunny skies will return for Tuesday with high temperatures reaching the upper 50s.

Wednesday will start out partly sunny, before clouds arrive ahead of low pressure developing in the central Plains. Scattered rain showers could develop as early as later Wednesday afternoon, otherwise expect mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers on Thursday and Friday. High temperatures will be closer to normal, reaching the lower 60s on Wednesday and the middle 60s on Thursday, before it turns breezy and cooler on Friday as high temperatures fall back to the upper 50s.

We should be between weather systems for much of next weekend. Skies will be partly sunny, and temperatures will be seasonably cool, with highs in t! he lower 60s. It will turn cloudy Sunday afternoon with a chance for s howers returning late in the day.
