The slow-moving storm system that brought cloudy skies, brisk winds, and rain to southern Wisconsin will finally move to the east today. Areas of fog are expected this morning, but skies will clear from west to east with lighter winds and milder temperatures this afternoon. Highs will reach the lower to middle 60s. Skies will become mostly clear tonight with patchy fog possibly developing.
A cold front will arrive on Friday. Partly sunny skies will turn mostly cloudy as the front passes, and it will be breezy and a little cooler with high temperatures in the upper 50s. There is a chance for light showers in the afternoon and evening, mainly northeast of Dane county.
Temperatures will be a little cooler for the start of the weekend. Saturday will be partly sunny and breezy with highs in the lower 50s. Sunday will be a little milder with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s. A weak weather system passing to the north may be clos! e enough to bring a slight chance for showers Sunday night.
Pleasant weather is expected for much of next week. Skies will become partly sunny on Monday with highs reaching the upper 50s. Skies will be mostly sunny on Tuesday and Wednesday, with high temperatures in the upper 50s on Tuesday and in the middle 60s on Wednesday.
