Halloween will start out mostly cloudy, windy, and cold with flurries and light snow showers. The snow will end early and skies will begin to clear by mid-morning. High temperatures will only top out around 40 degrees. North winds will begin to diminish late in the afternoon or evening. Temperatures will drop quickly this evening. Trick-or-Treaters will need to dress warmly with temperatures falling through the 30s and wind chills in the 20s.
This weekend, high pressure will be directly over southern Wisconsin on Saturday. It will be sunny and chilly with low temperatures Saturday morning in the lower 20s, while afternoon temperatures will only climb to the lower 40s. As the high moves to the east on Sunday, partly sunny skies and increasing southerly winds will boost high temperatures back into the lower 50s.
Monday will become mostly cloudy and breezy with scattered showers developing in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the m! iddle 50s. After a cold front passes, showers will end on Tuesday. Skies will become partly sunny Tuesday afternoon with highs approaching 50 degrees. Wednesday will be partly sunny and turning breezy with highs in the middle 50s. There is a chance for light rain or snow showers Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Friday will be partly sunny with a chance for showers at night.
