A large and slow-moving storm system will slowly move through the central Midwest over the next couple of days. Southern Wisconsin will be on the northern portion of the storm, with brisk winds and occasional rain that will become more showery with time. Tonight will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and mild with occasional rain, with an isolated thunderstorm possible. Temperatures will slowly fall to the middle 50s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the lower 50s by morning.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy and windy with occasional showers; high temperatures will reach the upper 50s. Tuesday night and Wednesday will be mostly cloudy and breezy with the showers becoming more scattered in nature. High temperatures on Wednesday will reach the upper 50s again.
As the storm moves away to the east, skies will become partly sunny for Thursday and Friday, allowing high temperatures to climb to the lower 60s. There is still a slight ch! ance for a shower on Thursday, although it's possible that it could stay dry.
Temperatures will be a little cooler for the weekend, although still staying within a couple of degrees from normal. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday of next week will be partly sunny with highs reaching the middle 50s. Low temperatures will fall back into the middle 30s.
