Tonight will be mostly cloudy with any lingering showers (mainly east of Madison) ending early. Areas of fog will develop overnight and could become dense in some locations, especially north and west of Madison. Temperatures will remain nearly steady around 50 degrees this evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the lower 40s by morning.

Fog will lift Friday morning and skies will become partly sunny. Temperatures will be milder with highs reaching the middle 60s.

Partly sunny and mild weather will continue for this weekend. It will be breezy on Saturday. Highs will reach the middle 60s for both Saturday and Sunday.  

A low pressure system will make its way through the region beginning Sunday night and lasting through Tuesday. Showers will develop Sunday night as a warm front pushes through the area, but those should end early Monday, leading to variably cloudy skies, breezy southerly winds, and a mild day with high! temperatures near 70. The cold front from this system will then move through Wisconsin Monday night and Tuesday with occasional showers. Tuesday will be windy and turning cooler with high temperatures reaching the upper 50s in the morning, before temperatures fall through the 50s in the afternoon. Showers should end Tuesday evening.

Quiet weather will return on Wednesday with partly sunny skies and high temperatures in the lower 50s. Thursday will be variably cloudy and cool, and it will become breezy with a slight chance for a shower and high temperatures near 50 degrees.

Halloween Friday will be variably cloudy, windy and much colder with a chance for rain and possible snow showers. Highs will only reach 40 degrees.
