As high pressure settles over the Midwest over the next couple of days, skies will be mostly clear tonight with areas of frost becoming likely. Temperatures will fall into the middle 40s by late evening; overnight low temperature will fall to the lower 30s by early Friday morning.

Friday will be mostly sunny and cool with high temperatures in the middle 50s. Frost is likely again on Friday night as temperatures fall to the lower 30s.

Temperatures will be near-normal over the weekend. Saturday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the upper 50s. Patchy frost is possible again Saturday night as low temperatures fall to the middle to upper 30s. The next weather system will begin to move into the area on Sunday, bringing increasingly cloudy skies and a chance for showers to develop in the afternoon; high temperatures will be near 60 degrees.

Monday will be mostly cloudy with occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms; hig! h temperatures will reach the middle 60s. Any remaining showers will end Tuesday, with skies becoming partly sunny and highs near 60 degrees.

Mild weather will return for a few days in the middle of next week. Wednesday will be mostly sunny and milder with highs reaching the middle 60s. Thursday wioll be mostly sunny, breezy, and mild, with high temperatures near 70 degrees. On Friday, a cold front will sweep through Wisconsin, bringing cooler temperatures. Skies will be mostly cloudy with showers developing. As the front passes, it will turn breezy and cooler. High temperatures will reach the lower 60s early Friday, with temperatures holding steady or slowly falling into the 50s in the afternoon.

A FROST ADVISORY has been issued from 1 AM until 8 AM Friday morning for south-central and southeastern Wisconsin, including the counties of MARQUETTE, GREEN LAKE, SAUK, COLUMBIA, DODGE, IOWA, DANE, JEFFERSON, LAFAYETTE, GREEN, ROCK, and WALWORTH (this includes the Madison and Milwaukee metropolitan areas).

A FROST ADVISORY has been issued from 1 AM until 9 AM Friday morning for northeastern Iowa and southwestern Wisconsin. In Iowa, this includes the counties of ALLAMAKEE and CLAYTON. In Wisconsin, this includes the counties of VERNON, RICHLA ND, CRAWFORD, and GRANT (this includes the La Crosse metropolitan area).
