Skies will be mostly cloudy this evening with any lingering flurries ending. Skies will become partly cloudy late at night with overnight lows in the middle teens. Winds will remain breezy from the northwest overnight with wind chills as cold as zero.
An extended period of unseasonably cold weather will continue into next week. Skies will be increasingly cloudy on Wednesday with breezy winds and high temperatures only reaching the upper 20s. Thursday will be variably cloudy and breezy with a chance for flurries; high temperatures will remain in the upper 20s. High pressure will move into southern Wisconsin Friday with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the upper 20s. Low temperatures will be in the teens through Saturday morning.
A weak weather system will bring increasing cloudiness on Saturday, and a chance for light snow or flurries late in the day, with light snow likely at night. Light snow will taper to flurries and end ! early on Sunday, with some clearing possible in the afternoon. Highs for both Saturday and Sunday will be near 30.
The cold air stays in place next week as well. There is a chance for flurries Monday with highs in the upper 20s. Tuesday will be partly sunny, but still cold with highs approaching 30 degrees.
