Skies will become mostly clear tonight as high pressure builds across the region. Temperatures will be colder, dropping into the middle 20s by early Friday. Friday will be increasingly cloudy and not as chilly with high temperatures in the middle 40s.
The next weather system will move into the state Friday night with a cold front moving through southern Wisconsin early on Saturday morning. A few light rain showers developing Friday night will mix with flurries by early Saturday morning as colder air moves across the region. Flurries will come to an end Saturday morning, with some clearing possible in the afternoon. Saturday will be breezy and cold with high temperatures in the upper 30s. Sunday will become mostly cloudy, breezy, and chilly with a chance for light rain or snow showers; high temperatures will be in the lower 40s.
Another storm system will move through the Midwest on Monday with mostly cloudy skies, chilly temperatures! , and light rain that may be mixed with snow as high temperatures top out in the upper 30s. As a strong cold front sweeps through the area on Monday night, temperatures will turn sharply colder, causing the mixed precipitation to change to light snow or flurries. Any light snow and flurries will end Tuesday morning, followed by skies becoming partly sunny in the afternoon.
There will be plenty of sunshine the rest of the week, but it will be unseasonably cold with highs in the lower 30s from Wednesday through Friday.
