Unseasonably cold air will continue across Wisconsin for the work week. Tonight will be variably cloudy, breezy, and very cold with scattered flurries. Temperatures will fall to the lower teens by late evening; overnight low temperatures will drop to the middle single digits, near the record low temperature of 3 set in 1872. Wind chills will be from -5 to m-15 by morning.

Tuesday will be partly sunny, breezy, and continued very cold with a slight chance for flurries. High temperatures in the upper teens will be near the record lowest high temperature of 15 set in 1872. Wind chills will be from +5 to -5 during the day.

As clouds move into Wisconsin on Tuesday night, temperatures will drop to around 10 degrees in the evening, then actually rise through the lower and middle teens overnight as a few flurries develop. On Wednesday, a passing cold front will bring mostly cloudy skies and a period of snow showers or flurries to southern Wisco! nsin. It will be breezy and not quite as cold with highs returning to the lower 20s. 

Another shot of very cold air returns for Thursday into early Friday. Thursday will be partly sunny, breezy, and very cold. Early morning low temperatures in the middle single digits close will be to the record low of 5 set in 1914; wind chills will be in the single digits below zero. Afternoon high temperatures on Thursday will only reach the upper teens, near the record for the coldest high temperature for the date, which is 15 degrees, set in 1872. After seeing another very cold morning on Friday with low temperatures in the middle single digits, high temperatures won't be quite as cold on Friday, reaching the middle 20s under partly sunny skies.

Temperatures will be closer to normal for the weekend. Skies will become mostly cloudy on Saturday with a chance for drizzle or light rain showers, mainly in the afternoon. More widespread rain will develop Saturday night and S! unday. Weekend highs will be near 40 degrees on Saturday, and in the m iddle 40s on Sunday.

Colder air will move into Wisconsin on the back side of a departing storm system on Monday, with rain mixing with and then changing to snow by evening. Temperatures will top out around 40 degrees early on Monday, before falling through the 30s during the day. Some snow accumulation is possible Monday night.

Low: 10 in the evening, then temperatures nearly steady/slowly rising after midnight
Wind: S 8-15 MPH; Wind Chills: +5 to -5

WEDNESDAY:
Mostly cloudy, breezy, and not quite as cold with a period of snow showers and flurries.
High: 23

Partly sunny, breezy, and very cold.

Mostly cloudy, breezy, and milder with a chance for drizzle or light rain showers, mainly in the afternoon (occasional rain developing late at night).

Mostly c loudy, breezy, and milder with occasional rain.
