Rain is likely this evening with continued mild temperatures for southern Wisconsin. As a cold front sweeps through the area late tonight, temperatures will drop. Rain will start to mix with snow late tonight, mainly for areas west of Madison. The rest of southern Wisconsin will see rain or mixed precipitation change to snow on Monday. Southwest Wisconsin will see that changeover early Monday, south-central areas will see the change mid-morning, and southeastern Wisconsin will see the changeover to snow in the early afternoon. Temperatures will fall from the middle 30s early Monday morning to the upper 20s by late in the day. Winds will pick up on Monday with blowing snow possible Monday afternoon and night. 1-3" of snow will accumulate during the day Monday, and another 1-2" will accumulate at night. This will bring storm totals to 2-5" of snow across southern Wisconsin. Temperatures will drop into the upper teens Monday night with snow becoming lighter or tapering to flurries overnight. 

Any lingering flurries will end early Tuesday, followed by skies becoming partly sunny for the afternoon. Highs will only reach the middle 20s. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with snow showers and flurries. Highs will be near 30 degrees.

Thanksgiving Day looks rather quiet with partly sunny skies. It will be breezy and chilly with highs only near 20 degrees. Friday will be mostly cloudy with another chance for snow showers or flurries and highs in the middle 20s.

Next weekend will begin with partly sunny skies Saturday and highs near 30 degrees. There will be a chance for flurries Sunday with highs in the middle 20s.
