Sunday will become mostly cloudy, breezy, and chilly with a chance for light rain or snow showers; high temperatures will be in the lower 40s.
Another storm syste! m will move through the Midwest on Monday, bringing mostly cloudy skies, chilly temperatures, and light rain that may be mixed with snow north of Madison as high temperatures top out just above 40 degrees. As a strong cold front sweeps through the area on Monday night, temperatures will turn sharply colder, causing the rain and mixed precipitation to change to light snow or flurries. Colder temperatures along with windy conditions will be the rule on Tuesday with flurries ending in the morning and some afternoon clearing developing. High temperatures will reach the lower 30s on Tuesday morning, followed by temperatures holding steady or falling into the 20s in the afternoon. Wednesday will be partly sunny, but breezy and unseasonably cold with high temperatures near 30 degrees.
