Skies tonight will become mostly clear and it will turn a little colder with temperatures falling into the lower 40s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the middle 30s.
Skies will become increasingly cloudy on Wednesday with a chance for showers late in the day, mainly for areas northwest of Madison. High temperatures will reach the middle 50s. As a cold front passes through Wisconsin on Wednesday night, colder air may cause rain showers to mix with snow toward early Thursday morning. Rain and snow showers will gradually come to an end Thursday, with skies becoming partly sunny in the afternoon. Highs will reach the lower 40s. Friday will be another chilly day with partly sunny skies and high temperatures in the middle 40s.
The next weather system will move into the state Friday night with a chance for light rain and snow showers. After a cold front passes, Saturday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and colder with sc! attered flurries; high temperatures will only reach the upper 30s before falling back through the 30s during the day. Sunday will be partly sunny, breezy, and chilly with high temperatures near 40 degrees.
Another weather system will bring a chance for flurries Sunday night, and a slight chance for rain and snow showers on Monday. Otherwise, skies will be variably cloudy on Monday with temperatures steady or falling from morning high temperatures in the lower 40s. Tuesday will be quiet, but cold with partly sunny skies and highs in the middle to upper 30s.
