Tonight will be mostly cloudy and mild this evening with rain showers developing as a cold front moves into southern Wisconsin; temperatures will fall to the middle 40s by late evening. Overnight, skies will remain mostly cloudy with rain showers possibly mixing with snow toward morning as colder air arrives behind the front; low temperatures will fall to the upper 30s by morning.
Thursday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and colder with snow and rain showers ending; some afternoon clearing is possible. High temperatures will be in the lower 40s. After a clear and cold night Thursday night with low temperatures in the middle 20s, Friday will be another chilly day with increasing cloudiness; high temperatures will be in the middle 40s.
The next weather system will move into the state Friday night with a cold front moving through early on Saturday morning. A few light rain showers developing Friday night will change to flurries by early Sa! turday morning as colder air moves across the region. Flurries will linger Saturday morning, with some clearing possible in the afternoon. Saturday will be breezy and cold with high temperatures reaching the upper 30s. Sunday will become mostly cloudy, breezy, and chilly with a chance for light rain or snow showers; high temperatures will be in the lower 40s.
Another storm system will move through the Midwest on Monday, bringing mostly cloudy skies, chilly temperatures, and light rian that may be mixed with snow north of Madison as high temperatures top out just above 40 degrees. As a strong cold front sweeps through the area on Monday night, temperatures will turn sharply colder, causing the rain and mixed precipitation will change to light snow or flurries. Colder air accompanied by windy conditions will continue on Tuesday with flurries ending in the morning and some afternoon clearing developing. High temperatures will reach the lower 30s on Tuesday morning! , followed by temperatures holding steady or falling into the 20s in t he afternoon. Wednesday will be partly sunny, but breezy and unseasonably cold with high temperatures near 30 degrees.
