Skies will become mostly clear tonight as high pressure builds into Wisconsin. Temperatures will be colder, falling to the lower 30s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall into the middle 20s by morning.
On Friday, skies will become increasingly cloudy and it won't be not as chilly with high temperatures in the middle 40s.
The next weather system will move into the state Friday night with a cold front moving through southern Wisconsin early on Saturday morning. A few light rain showers developing Friday night will mix with flurries by early Saturday morning as colder air moves across the region. Flurries will come to an end Saturday morning, with some clearing possible in the afternoon. Saturday will be breezy and cold with high temperatures in the upper 30s. On Sunday, skies will become mostly cloudy, and it will be breezy and chilly with a chance for light rain or snow showers; high temperatures will be in the lower 4! 0s.
Another storm system will move through the Midwest on Monday with mostly cloudy skies, chilly temperatures, and light rain that may be mixed with snow as high temperatures top out in the upper 30s. As a strong cold front sweeps through the area on Monday night, temperatures will turn sharply colder, causing the mixed precipitation to change to light snow or flurries. Any light snow and flurries will end Tuesday morning, followed by skies becoming partly sunny in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the lower 30s on Tuesday morning, but expect temperatures to hold steady or slowly fall into the 20s by afternoon.
Temperatures will be unseasonably cold from Wednesday through Friday. Skies will be partly sunny on Wednesday, and it will be breezy, adding to the chill. Thursday and Friday will be mostly sunny with light winds. High temperatures will be around 30 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday, and in the lower 30s on Friday. Low temperatures will ! be in the lower teens.
