Unseasonably cold weather will continue through Friday. Skies will be mostly sunny this afternoon, but it will still be breezy and unseasonably cold with highs only around 20 degrees. Wind chill values will stay close to zero throughout the day. Tonight, skies will be mostly clear, and temperatures will fall to just above zero, although with little wind, wind chills won't be a factor. Friday will be partly sunny and not quite as cold as high temperatures reach the middle to upper 20s.
As an area of low pressure moves near Wisconsin on Friday night, skies will become mostly cloudy, and it will be breezy and milder. Light rain, sleet, and freezing rain will develop later Friday night and should change to drizzle or light rain on Saturday as temperatures warm into the lower to middle 40s by Saturday afternoon. Fog will be possible Saturday night with warmer temperatures and plenty of moisture. Mild air will linger across southern Wisconsin Sunday w! ith rain becoming heavier, especially in the afternoon. Highs will reach the middle to upper 40s.
Mostly cloudy, windy, and colder weather will move into Wisconsin on the back side of the departing low pressure system on Monday, with rain mixing with and then changing to snow. Temperatures will top out in the upper 30s early on Monday, then fall through the 30s during the day. Some snow accumulation is possible from late Monday into Monday night.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and colder with scattered light snow showers and flurries. High temperatures will only reach the upper 20s. Clouds will increase again on Wednesday with another chance of light snow late in the day and highs near 30.
On Thanksgiving Day, a storm system will be near the area, but there is very little agreement on where it is going to track, so at this point it looks seasonably cold with highs in the lower 30s and a chance of snow.
