It will remain cloudy and foggy this evening with temperatures near 40. Not much changes overnight, although there will be an added chance of patchy drizzle. Skies will be mostly cloudy on Monday with fog and drizzle in the morning. As a storm system approaches Wisconsin, rain showers will develop during the afternoon. High temperatures will still be mild, reaching the middle to upper 40s. As the storm moves through Wisconsin on Monday night, a cold front will sweep through southern Wisconsin. As temperatures turn colder on Monday night, the rain showers will mix with and change to snow showers by early Tuesday morning west of Madison. After the system passes, Tuesday will remain mostly cloudy with light snow showers and flurries continuing across the entire area. Minor s! now accumulations may be possible. Temperatures on Tuesday will start out in the lower to middle 30s, then fall slowly in the afternoon.
On Wednesday, skies will be partly sunny with high temperatures in the lower 30s. A storm system will pass by to our south late next week, but at this time, it looks like a near miss, meaning partly sunny skies and highs in the mid 30s from Thursday through Saturday. If the track of this storm becomes more northerly, there will be a chance of snow Friday night into Saturday. Sunday looks just a bit warmer with partly sunny skies and highs near 40.
