Tonight will be mostly cloudy and mild with fog and scattered rain showers as a low pressure system passes through Wisconsin. Temperatures will fall only to around 40 degrees by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the middle 30s by morning as a cold front passes through the area late at night.
On Tuesday, it will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and colder with rain showers changing to snow showers and flurries as the storm moves away to the northeast and colder air sweeps in behind the cold front. Little, if any snow accumulation is expected. Temperatures will fall to the upper 20s by evening. Skies will turn partly cloudy Tuesday night, and Wednesday will be partly sunny and seasonably cold with high temperatures near 30 degrees.
The weather looks to be quiet for the rest of the week through the weekend. Skies will be partly sunny except for Saturday, when a storm system passing well to our south may bring a few more clou! ds. High temperatures will be in the lower 30s for Thursday and Friday, and in the middle 30s for the weekend.
Monday will be a little milder with highs reaching the upper 30s under partly sunny skies. As a storm system approaches for the middle of next week, skies will turn mostly cloudy on Monday night with a chance for rain and snow showers to develop.
There are signs that a storm system could bring some accumulating snow from later Tuesday into Wednesday of next week, with a shot of cold air for the Christmas holiday, with another storm system around Friday that could bring more accumulating snow. Make sure you monitor later forecasts if you are planning on travelling around Christmas.
