Clouds will linger across the area this afternoon and temperatures will be seasonably cold, hitting highs in the lower 30s. Mostly cloudy skies will remain overnight with lows falling near 20. Thursday will be partly sunny and not as cold with high temperatures in the middle 30s.
Milder Pacific air will gradually head into the Midwest from Friday through the weekend, leading above-normal temperatures. Friday and Saturday will be partly sunny with high temperatures reaching the lower 40s on Friday, and the upper 40s on Saturday. On Sunday, skies will become mostly cloudy with a chance for showers to develop, mainly late in the day or at night. High temperatures will once again reach the upper 40s.
Skies will be mostly cloudy on Monday with the threat for rain showers continuing. High temperatures will reach the middle 40s. As temperatures cool down on Monday night the rain showers may mix with or change to snow before ending. After th! e system passes, flurries will end early Tuesday and temperatures will be seasonably cold again into mid week, with highs in the lower to middle 30s.
