Skies will be mostly sunny today as high pressure moves through with high temperatures in the middle 30s. Tonight will be partly cloudy and seasonably cold with low temperatures around 20 degrees.
Clouds will return again on Sunday ahead of an approaching low pressure system. High temperatures will reach the middle to upper 30s.
The low pressure system will pass through Wisconsin from Sunday night into Monday. Light snow (possibly initially mixed with sleet and freezing rain) will develop Sunday night and continue Monday, with only minor accumulations expected. Monday will be seasonably cold with high temperatures in the lower to middle 30s. Following the passage of the system, skies will become partly sunny on Tuesday. It will be seasonably cold once again with high temperatures near 30.
Milder Pacific air will gradually head into the Midwest for the second half of next week, leading to temperatures that will be above no! rmal for this time of the year. Wednesday will be mostly sunny and milder with high temperatures in the upper 30s. Thursday will be variably cloudy and milder with high temperatures in the lower to middle 40s; a few flurries or patchy freezing drizzle may be possible in the morning.
The weekend will be unseasonably mild, with record or near record high temperatures expected. Skies will be generally cloudy, and it will be breezy. There will be a chance for showers, although the best rain chances may hold off until late Sunday or Sunday night as a strong storm system approaches the Midwest. High temperatures on Friday and Saturday will be near 50 degrees, and should reach the lower 50s on Sunday.
